Getting the most accurate resistance measurement on a multimeter depends on how you connect your calibrator to your multimeter as well as what kind of multimeter you’re working with. Learn the four different connection methods and the tool settings to measure and test resistance on a digital handheld multimeter, a bench multimeter, and a systems multimeter. Whether you connect one set of test leads or two and how the setup is done, you can compensate for additional resistance on your leads and...

With calibration management software
One of almost every laboratory’s performance metrics is tracking calibration throughput–how many assets can each individual calibrate throughout the day. The more assets properly calibrated during the workday, the more work a calibration lab can take on without needing to hire more individuals. By adding automation to your calibration laboratory with software, you’ll be able to see a notable increase in calibration throughput–up to 200%.

Nitinol is a metal alloy of nickel and titanium with unique properties, including superelasticity and shape memory. It can be folded up in order to be inserted into the body, then return to its original cast shape and size when in place.
Fluke salt baths help ensure consistent and repeatable processes for medical device manufacturing and Nitinol forming by providing stability and uniformity specifications that are up to 10x that of a typical heat-treating bath.

In aerospace applications, pressure transducers and switches play critical roles in monitoring many systems throughout the aircraft—from hydraulics and electromechanical systems to avionics. Braking, propulsion, wing flap control, cabin pressure and countless other functions rely on pressure transducers and switches to ensure that the process is happening correctly. Accuracy is critical.
Because these devices are constantly subjected to extreme vibration, frequent ambient temperature changes...

A rotameter, also called variable area flowmeter, is inherently a volumetric flow measurement device. The word origin is rota(tion) + messer/measure/meter. The scale can be in mass flow units if the volume flow rate is multiplied by a specified density, and in dimension units (mm) or percent.
An indicator floats at a steady value when the forces on it are equal. The main forces are the weight of the float (downward) and the drag force of the fluid (upward). Other forces are the difference in...
